Tharros Place is developing a 12-bed residential facility for survivors of human trafficking, girls ages 12-17, anticipated to open Summer 2023. We are currently hiring a dynamic leader who will work in collaboration with the Executive Director to assist with the start-up of the residential program and facility. This position offers the opportunity to be interactive from the ground-up in building a team of approximately 25 employees, creating necessary training, establishing data and record management procedures, understanding policies, procedures, and curriculum, and overseeing the renovation and furnishing of the facility prior to opening. The Program Director’s responsibilities will shift to ongoing operation and management of the residential facility and Residential Care Team once Tharros Place opens to survivors. The Program Director provides leadership, oversight, and supervision of the staff, volunteers, and participants, for the residential program. This position is responsible for high quality program design, implementation, and results to meet organizational goals and ensure participants may benefit from all services provided including therapy, education, and life skills training. Responsibilities: ● Build and maintain a healthy, trusting, cohesive team that works together to accomplish high-quality trauma-informed clinical outcomes ● Provide reliable, effective leadership, supervision, and management for program staff, including weekly staff meetings, regular staff evaluations, assessment for training needs, and coordination of annual training ● Conduct staff performance evaluations for all direct reports ● Create and maintain staff and program schedules ● Ensure the timely and quality development of individual service plans by the Human Service Professional ● Develop the organizational continuum of care in partnership with Senior Leadership and Clinical Team ● Lead clinical meetings and supervise Electronic Health Records ● Maintain compliance with program budget ● Available on-call during some nights and weekends in the event of urgent residential needs ● Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, both internal and external, including developing regular meetings and collaboration with local and state stakeholders ● Positively represent Tharros Place in a variety of arenas including residential facility tours, development, fundraising activities, speaking opportunities, community training, and events ● Provide culturally competent care for participants wondering about their sexuality or gender identity, including those who may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender-variant, or those who have questions Required Qualifications: ● A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral or social sciences, social work, childhood education, business or public administration or related field and two (2) years of paid work experience in the field of social services or human service delivery and at least one of which has been in an administrative or supervisory capacity OR ● A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the same areas of study and four (4) years of paid work experience in a human services delivery capacity or a related field and at least two of which have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity. ● Documentation of references two (2) professional and one (1) personal or educational that attest to the capability to perform the duties of the position and suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations ● Willingness to pursue and participate in continuing education, stay up to date on best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements ● Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of GSuite, and Microsoft Office ● Satisfactory criminal background and fingerprint records check ● Clean Motor Vehicle Record Preferred Qualifications: ● Fully licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW with active unrestricted license in the state of Georgia ● Five (5) years of experience in the field of social services and three (3) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity ● Experience providing services to youth or young adults who are survivors of complex trauma ● Working knowledge of the Room, Board and Watchful Oversight state minimum requirements for childcare programs as provided by Georgia Division of Family and Children Services Program Structure: ● Own and develop the clinical and operational protocol for all residential program services ● Implement, evaluate, and refine program curriculum, policies, and procedures as needed ● Ensure program policies and procedures are routinely followed, including but not limited to recordkeeping, intake procedures, health and safety, clinical services, educational plans and progress, training, and emergency preparedness ● Utilize Data-Driven Decision-Making and management of reports to set targets and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness ● Maintain compliance with OPM, RCCL, DFCS, DJJ, and DMST quality standards and guidelines; submit written reports and maintain KPIs as requested for each respective agency ● Track and report quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) as indicated by executive leadership and required by grants and funders ● Design corrective measure protocol in response to deficits in quality metrics and KPIs ●Ensure GA Scores is routinely updated to include staff training, significant events and participant files Additional Competencies: ● Develop intentional connections with program participants and staff members ● Cultivate an atmosphere of mutual respect through words and behaviors ● Attract, hire, and retain diverse talented employees ● Model healthy boundaries and strengths-based consequences ● Provide support and crisis intervention as needed ● Ability to administer physical restraints as governed by program policies ● Minimal local travel required related to participant and program needs, as well as occasional travel for training ● Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds, work for long periods at a computer, and drive company vehicle as needed ● Documentation of a health screening examination within 30 days of hiring by a licensed healthcare professional to identify conditions that may place residents at risk of infection, injury, or improper care ● Completion of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a triennial training program and first aid within the first 30 days of employment Job Type: Full-time Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Schedule:
